A woman beat three Jehovah’s Witnesses with a hammer when they knocked on her door to talk about the bible.
During her vicious attack Kerry Mitchell, 44, hit one in the face and another on the shoulder after they chapped on her door in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
She now faces jail after pleading guilty to three counts of assault by beating, one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment.
Mitchell appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates court on Tuesday, January 23 but her case will be heard at Maidstone Crown court due to its severity.
The defence and the magistrates were in agreement that she should be sentenced at crown court.
ames Nichols, prosecuting, described how Mitchell hit two of the victims.
He said: ‘One was hit in the face and another caught on the shoulder.’
Chairman Mrs Hissey said: ‘The bench considers this to be unsuitable for magistrates and therefore we are sending it to crown court.’
Mitchell was released on unconditional bail until her sentencing hearing but no date has been set.
