Chigul Biography and Net Worth

Chioma Omeruah popularly known as Chigul is a famous Nigerian stand-up comedian, singer, comic actress and a television personality, who is known for her accents and comedic characters. She was born in Ikeja, Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria to an Igbo parents. She is the second child in a family of four children. Her father’s name is Air Commodore Samson Omeruah.

Chigul completed her primary school education in Lagos, Nigeria and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, Chigul attended Air Force Secondary Schools in Jos, Plateau State in the northern part of Nigeria and completed her secondary school education at Air Force Secondary Schools in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate.

After completing her primary and secondary school education, Chigul attended a university in Nigeria briefly before she left Nigeria to study in abroad. At her father’s request, she studied Criminal Justice in a university in the United States of America. The course wasn’t a success for her so she left after two years to study French Education at Delaware State University in the United States of America.

Chigul is a linguist and speaks a number of languages which include Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, French and English. She returned to Nigeria after spending twelve years in the United States of America. She initially became a singer under the stage name C-Flow, but the name was later changed to Chigul.

Chigul speaks in a strong Igbo accent. She has been interviewed and lauded by a number of media outlets. She had given a TEDx talk and has appeared as a comic character in the Nollywood movie “Road to Yesterday” which was produced and released in 2015.

In 2017, she acted in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “The Wedding Part” alongside with RMD, Adesua Etomi, Banky W, and Prince Jide Kosoko, amongst others. In 2015, she made a cameo appearance and appeared as a guest on the hit single “Karishika” by Falz. In 2017, she also acted in another Nollywood blockbuster movie “Banana Island Ghost”. Chigul has been married but her marriage ended up in a divorce with no joint children.

Chigul is currently one of the richest and most influential comedian, singer and comic actress in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $150,000.
